Paint By Number Gift Tags

It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas out there…And you know what that means? Time to get all of your gift-giving accoutrements together. Pink Toe Press has a fun retro-inspired solution: Paint By Number Gift Tags. They are a fun variation to the classic gift tag, using vintage Paint By Number artwork, colorful bakers twine, and space for personalization. Each tag is printed on the front AND the back so that your gift will stand out no matter which way the tag is facing.

Gift tags are available in non-holiday designs too! Available designs are shown below. Customizable features include the banner on each tag and the color of the bakers twine. Each tag is made from vintage Paint By Number artwork, so they vary slightly from pack to pack.

As an added bonus (and for extra gift-ability) the tags are embellished not only with colorful bakers twine, but with glitter accents. Each tag has a little bit of glitter detailing on the front or back.

These gift tags will look great on a gift, but they could also make a great gift. Available in packs of 6.

New Business Cards for Pink Toe Press

I recently gave Pink Toe Press‘ business cards a bit of an overhaul. If you remember from before, the old cards were very detailed and had an illustration of the Pink Toe Press “coat of arms”.

The old design: GREAT for postcards, a little too detailed for business cards.

I wanted to give the business cards a bright bold look with simple colors that lend themselves well to the shapes and colors in the Pink Toe Press logo. I chose this design that not only features the logo but makes sure you know each item coming from Pink Toe Press is hand made.

The NEW printed business cards. How lovely!

I prefer vertical business cards. Vertical is sometimes a risky choice, but I knew I could make it work for this project. I chose to use one of my new favorite fonts: Lulo for much of the text on the card. As this is a small canvas, I wanted the most legible, aesthetically pleasing font I could muster. Functionally, I wanted to be sure to include the social media information on the card, but did not want to be obtuse about it. I included that information in pink under where it says “buttons/cards/totes”.

I printed the cards at home using our Cannon 9000 Mark II printer (love that thing!) and printed them on heavy-stock bristol paper. Because of this, they are thicker than standard business cards and are matte on the back for writing down notes or other pertinent information. They are so pretty, I though they could even be used as tags for tote bags in a pinch!

I feel this project was a success. What do you think?
