New Loves

I’ve designed some fun new buttons that really tickle my fancy. The new “I Heart” buttons are a fun new addition to Pink Toe Press and are currently available at Rocket Fizz ! These buttons have some of my favorite things on them and are a great way to decorate a book bag, purse, or jacket. I hope to make new designs soon and even offer them as magnets.

The first button designed in this line was the “I HEART Sandwich” and I had it on my lunch bag for work. I got so many compliments that I had to expand the line and make more … and I HEART all of them! At one-inch across, you can get a bunch!

What a spooky Kitty!

I’m getting in to the Halloween Spirit with some of my newest artwork. This new Pink Toe Press Exclusive screen print is just in time for Halloween!

The print is based off of a pen and ink drawing that I drew recently. It is printed with Speedball Acrylic Inks on a heavy, smooth Bristol. Measuring 11 by 17 inches, it fits perfectly in any room! Next time I am going to try the print on orange paper and on T-Shirts. Stay tuned!

Halloween Cats

A little while ago I posted about a Halloween Cat drawing that I’d made. Now I think I know what I’ll do with him: make a pattern for paper, textiles, and more! Look at how happy they all are:

Getting Ready for Halloween

Halloween is my favorite time of year!

I really like all parts of the Holiday…from the costumes to the candy, the haunted houses to the changing leaves. As you know, I like cats too, so this little drawing really makes me smile. This grinning cat is ready to celebrate Halloween with you. I sketched the ideas for the drawing with pen and ink, then made this version digitally.

I can’t wait to turn this in to a screen print. I think it would make an awesome print or tote bag. Stay tuned for more Halloweeney fun!!!

Happy Cinco De Mayo

Happy Cinco De Mayo! ¡Felíz Cinco de Mayo!

I designed this to be a “Get Well” card for children, but as they’re piñatas, you could even use this for Post-Cinco-De-Mayo “get well cards”, I suppose. Please take care and be responsible if you choose to party. I know I’ll be laying low and having some chips and guacamole when I get off of work tonight. I wish we had gotten tickets to see Lucha Vavoom again this year.
